Using this unique, cutting edge technology, German doctors concentrate heat in the area around the tumor. For example, the doctor places a special device directly over the breast of a breast cancer patient to heat up that specific area. The patient doesn’t get a temporary whole-body fever with this kind of heat therapy.

German doctors use radio frequencies (shortwaves), which cause heat to penetrate deep into the body — 18 centimeters, about 7 inches.

One of Germany’s most legendary cancer doctors was Hans Nieper, M.D. I’m sure you’ve heard of some of the people who came to him to get rid of their cancer: Princess Caroline of Monaco and President Ronald Reagan, to name just two.

Dr. Nieper cured Princess Caroline of breast cancer, and she remains in glowing health to this day.

Other celebrities, such as actors William Holden and Anthony Quinn, have gone to Dr. Nieper’s clinic for cancer. And comedian Red Buttons brought his wife there. It’s a remarkable story. I’ll tell you the details in a moment.

I already mentioned President Ronald Reagan’s May 1985 trip to Germany for cancer treatment. Reagan chose Germany because of Dr. Nieper’s reputation as the No. 1 cancer doctor in the world.

By the way, something really odd happened around the time of Reagan’s trip to Dr. Nieper’s cancer clinic. The National Cancer Institute, part of the American cancer establishment, had published a pamphlet purporting to warn the public about how to recognize a cancer “quack.” One of the red flags for identifying a “quack” was: “Beware of any doctor who links cancer to diet.”

But President Reagan had to change his diet after his treatment in Germany for cancer. Dr. Nieper told him it was necessary. And that’s when America’s cancer establishment withdrew the ridiculous claim that cancer has nothing to do with diet! I suspect President Reagan’s experience had something to do with their change of mind.

Sadly, Dr. Nieper died in 1998, and his clinic no longer exists. But his priceless health secrets didn’t die with him. The six German clinics I toured are using the cancer breakthrough he helped pioneer and perfect.

The movie star’s wife who said “no” to mutilating surgery

Don’t believe some cancer doctor who predicts, “With luck, you might live a year.” Those are the exact words a cancer doctor told Alicia Buttons, the wife of comedian and actor Red Buttons. You’ve probably seen him in classic movies such as “The Poseidon Adventure,” “Alice in Wonderland,” and “The Longest Day.”

Red’s wife had an advanced case of one of the most dreaded cancers: oral pharyngeal cancer. In 1975 she said “no” to surgery that would have disfigured her face — and went to Germany instead.

Alicia got rid of her cancer with no disfiguring surgery and lived in good health for another 29 years! And Red Buttons went on to become an advocate for health freedom in America.

FDA officials sneak off to Germany
for the treatments they deny you

Back in 1987, Dr. Nieper let a man named Jeff Harsh interview him for a video documentary. After commenting that “President Reagan is a very nice man,” Dr. Nieper declared:

“You wouldn’t believe how many FDA officials or relatives or acquaintances of FDA officials come to see me as patients in Hanover. You wouldn’t believe this — or directors of the American Medical Association (AMA), or American Cancer Society (ACS), or the presidents of orthodox cancer institutes. That’s the fact.”

Well, that’s America’s cancer establishment for you.

FDA officials and their colleagues want you to submit to disfiguring surgery, poisonous chemo, and burning radiation when you get cancer. But when they get cancer — well, that’s different! They go to Germany to get rid of their cancer. For themselves, they prefer treatments that are more effective and don’t have any side effects.

America’s cancer system is a broken down mess

These fat cats don’t practice what they preach, so why do they hide the German cancer breakthrough from you? Most likely, the answer is money. Cancer treatment in America has become a racket. It costs $350,000 to die of cancer in America.

Rolling hills make “Clinic No. 3” a hiker’s paradise. The doctor emphasizes the importance of fitness and mild exercise and encourages patients to drink the mineralized, healing waters.

“Clinic No. 4” is located at the foot of a spectacular mountain in the Bavarian Alps. The doctor is the surgeon I told you about who routinely recommends against cancer surgery. He’s proven again and again that there’s a better way to get rid of cancer. The clinic is located in a charming village, and the doctor encourages the patients to ride bicycles, which he provides free of charge.

Cancer treatment you can afford!
“Is your life worth a Honda?”

At one of the clinics in the Bavarian Alps I interviewed Franko, a retired pianist from Key West. As we gazed out the window on a gorgeous view of the Alps, he told me he had stage-four prostate cancer that had spread to his bones. Stage four is generally hopeless.

Without health insurance, Franko couldn’t afford the standard American treatments. But he scraped together the money for his treatment in Germany. And as far as he was concerned, it was a bargain.

As he put it, “Is your life worth a Honda?”

Compared to the six-figure price tag of cancer treatment in America, German treatments cost only pennies on the dollar — even at today’s weak dollar and sky-high European prices.

After just one week at the clinic, Franko’s PSA score dropped from 3,500 to 500. That’d never happen at a U.S. hospital.

At the same clinic I also interviewed Paul, a retired businessman from North Carolina who was there for a follow-up visit. Like Franko, he was there for metastatic bone cancer stemming from prostate cancer.

Mastectomy for breast cancer? The German surgeon says NO!

One doctor showed me a fat scrapbook of “before” and “after” photos, including photos of patients with severe, advanced breast cancer. The “before” pictures are disturbing and ugly. The “after” pictures show healthy, happy patients. These women survived and thrived with their breasts intact!

For reasons of decency, I can’t show you the “before” and “after” photos of these breast cancer patients in this letter. But you can see these pictures for yourself if you have access to a library that collects German medical journals. Surgery for prostate cancer?
“Never, never, never, NEVER!,” says the surgeon!

Surgeons in general like to cut because — let’s face it — it’s what they do. You’ve probably heard the adage, “When your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.” But this skilled German surgeon I interviewed often recommends against cancer surgery.

His breakthrough treatments could put many surgeons out of business — or at least force them to tighten their belts.

As for prostate cancer, the surgeon told me he never recommends surgical removal of the prostate. Nor does he ever recommend an orchectomy (surgical removal of the testicles). To make his point crystal clear, he told me, “Never, never, never, NEVER!”

Why this surgeon recommends against surgery

I wish every American cancer surgeon could hear what this German surgeon told me about the nature of cancer:

“In cancer, the whole body is ill. You can’t just cut off a breast and pretend everything’s OK. You must treat the whole patient. That’s why we use a combination therapy for the whole body. As a surgeon, I usually recommend against surgery. You’ll get metastasis unless you get at the cause of the cancer. It’s not enough just to get rid of the tumor. You have to get rid of the metastasized cells, and that requires treating the whole body.”

German cancer doctors pull cancer out by the roots while American cancer doctors just dither around treating symptoms. That’s a BIG difference.

American researchers acknowledge
the German cancer breakthrough

American cancer researchers generally frown on alternative, complementary, and integrative treatments for cancer. It’s been said that their idea of research is to see if two doses of this poison are better than three doses of that poison.

But researchers from Columbia University in New York were at least open-minded enough to travel to one of Germany’s top cancer clinics and examine several “terminal” cases of cancer. All of these cancers were cured using the German cancer breakthrough.

The researchers were forced to admit that the German therapy “merits further study.” They published their findings and you’ll get the details in my new Special Report, German Cancer Breakthrough.

So why does the American cancer establishment hang on to its failed therapies? What’s their problem? The following story may give us a hint...

The cancer doctor who refused a $5 million tax-free bribe

Let me give you an important WARNING: Not all German clinics use the German cancer breakthrough. And not all German clinics are reputable. The ones I feature in my guide are the best — the ones at the cutting edge of cancer science.

In fact, most German clinics use the same outdated cut-burn-poison method of “treating” cancer that American doctors use. I found out why when I interviewed a German doctor at his clinic in a picturesque village perched high in the Austrian Alps.

The doctor told me that a drug company salesman visited his clinic one day. I won’t mention the name of the company, but you’d know it. You see their ads everywhere.

The salesman asked the doctor how many cancer patients he had. After hearing the doctor’s estimate, the salesman whipped out his laptop computer and crunched some numbers.

Then the salesman looked up and offered to sneak the doctor 3.7 million Euros under the table after a year, if he’d give all his cancer patients big doses of an expensive chemo drug.

I want to be absolutely sure you get the picture. The salesman offered the doctor more than $5 million under the table, tax-free.

Do you see? If a doctor is treating lots of cancer patients, and if he prescribes an expensive chemo drug for all of them, a drug company can easily afford to give the doctor a seven-figure kickback at the end of the year.

The doctor who told me this story refused the bribe. And the drug salesman was stunned. He couldn’t believe the doctor turned down that kind of money. “You’re from a different planet,” the salesman marveled. “Every hospital works together with us.”

That’s why it’d be a mistake to walk into just any hospital or clinic in Germany and assume that you’ll get the breakthrough treatment I’ve been telling you about.

I don’t know for sure, but it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if the same sort of thing happens here in the United States.

One of the most remarkable integrative cancer clinics I toured is in Germany’s wine region, just five miles from the French border.

One of the doctors there told me about a 55-year-old German named Georg (pronounced “Gayorg”) who came to the clinic in 1995 as a last resort for his bone cancer that had spread.

“But can German doctors save every cancer patient?”

But an American cancer doctor who gave his patient just “three weeks to live” was just plain wrong. I know because I interviewed the lady more than a year later, and she was in fine health!

Even in cases when it really is too late, German treatments can sometimes extend the cancer patient’s life and result in a better quality of life without pain.

One patient who was just days away from death came to a German cancer clinic asking for help. His liver had practically conked out, and his skin was yellow.

He told the doctor he needed to live for six more months so he could pass on to his daughter the knowledge of how to run his business.

The Canine Cancer Diet:

Most canine cancer patients will do best on a grain free commercial dog food supplemented with the addition of a partially cooked or raw food diet. If you are concerned with how your dog will react with a raw diet, start off with rare cooked meat and slowly wean them to raw.

Due to the high acid in their stomach, dogs are not susceptible to the bacteria that humans are and a raw diet is a benefit to them. Their stomach acid also allows them to digest bone.

The raw food diet (or BARF diet – Biologically Appropriate Raw Foods) should consist of 75% meat and 25% fruit/veggies

BARF Diet Ingredients:

Bones – they MUST be raw – cooked/smoked bones are never safe as they will splinter

Meat – chunked or ground (beef, lamb, chicken, pork, etc)

Offal (liver, kidneys, heart, unbleached green tripe (which can be purchased in a can at your local gourmet pet food store))

Vegetables – (broccoli, spinach, celery, bok choy, carrot, capsicum)

Fruit – (whole apple, whole pear, whole grapefruit, whole orange)

Other Goodies - Whole egg, flax seed, garlic, kelp, alfalfa, kefir

Yogurt and cottage cheese are good to mix with the fruit/veggies to entice the dog to eat them

Recipe – 1 week of raw meat patties for a 50 pound active dog

4 lbs ground meats – beef and/or lamb and/or chicken and/or turkey

2 cups raw goat milk or 1 cup yogurt or cottage cheese

3 raw eggs

1 apple

1 glove garlic

2 carrots

1.5 pound mixed veggies (such as sweet potato, broccoli, zucchini, kale, spinach)

Mix in food processor and make into patties to freeze

No two dogs are alike in the amount of food they require; dogs typically eat 2% of their body weight, but more active or dogs with a high metabolism may require 3-4%.

It is a good idea to give the raw diet in the morning and some dry, grain-free kibble in the evening.

You can also be creative and give chunked meat along with a mix of fruit/veggies/yogurt. Change is good to ensure a variety of nutrients.

Other Dietary Supplements to Enhance Chemo-Therapy:

Vitamin E – 400 iu per day
Selenium – 100 mcg per day
Beta-carotene - or raw carrots, grated, if the dog likes them
Green tea extract (decaffeinated) 50 -100 mg/day
Grape seed extract
Quercetin

These ingredients are all antioxidants. While antioxidants enhance the effectiveness of some of the chemo drugs, they may interfere with other chemo drugs. If the dog is on chemotherapy, discuss with the oncologist whether the dog should be taken off these during the course of chemo. The information on this is changing daily. See Dr. Messonnier's book "Preventing and Treating Cancer in Dogs" chapter 7, for more specific details on this subject. If your oncologist is not familiar with antioxidant-enhanced chemotherapy, perhaps you could recommend to him or her this book.

Membrane stabilizers such as omega-3-fatty acids, gamma-linolenic acid and coenzyme Q-10 are also important additions. Antioxidants can be good for preventing and treating canine cancer, but do not add additional Vitamin C to the dog's diet unless specifically recommended by your vet. Dog's make their own Vitamin C.

Many veterinarians feel that antioxidants should be stopped three days before, and resumed one week after the completion of the radiation or chemo treatment. This comes from earlier assumptions and is not necessarily the latest info. It is crucial you work with your oncologist to achieve maximum effectiveness in your dog's treatment!

Understanding the Treatments - Immuno-Modulation in Dog Cancer

Green tea extract may ward off Alzheimer's

The number of health benefits attributed to the active constituents of green tea continues to grow. Most recently, scientists writing in The Journal of Neuroscience reported on green tea’s possible role in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease (AD).

Researchers looking at epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), an antioxidant found in green tea, say the polyphenol shows promise as a preventative or treatment of Alzheimer’s disease in humans. The researchers said the effects they observed may derive from an EGCG extract rather than from the tea itself.

The team from the University of South Florida gave daily EGCG injections (20mg/kg) over a period of 60 days to a group of five mice that were specially bred to be Alzheimer’s prone, with another five mice receiving a placebo.

When the mice’s brains were studied, those that had received the EGCG had greatly reduced buildup of the protein beta-amyloid, compared to the control mice. When it causes plaque in the brain, this protein can lead to nerve damage and memory loss characteristic of AD.

“The findings suggest that a concentrated component of green tea can decrease brain beta-amyloid plaque formation,” said senior study author Dr. Jun Tan. “If beta-amyloid pathology in this Alzheimer’s mouse model is representative of Alzheimer’s disease pathology in humans, EGCG dietary supplementation may be effective in preventing and treating the disease.”

Summertime means iced green or black teas flavored with the sweet berries and fruits . As ideal as summer and tea are, did you know that tea can add greatly to your comfort and beauty during the hot months?

You've read about it, been told about it, but sometimes, no matter how careful you are applying and reapplying sunscreen, it's still possible to get a burn. What to do? If it's mild, making a cool compress of tea-soaked gauze, apply that to the burned area, and rest for twenty minutes. The sting and the redness should miraculously GO. (If it's more serious, consider adding aloe vera).

For another way to cool off during the summer months, pour one to two cups of brewedgreen or rooibos tea into a tepid bath. Relax about fifteen to twenty minutes, allowing the tea-infused bath water to do its magic in refreshing the skin, softening its texture, and helping you relax. But remember to rinse yourself off thoroughly; otherwise, you'll discover another sidebar of tea's beauty qualities. It can temporarily tan your skin!

Adding Shine to Hair
The sun can streak and highlight your hair. However if you find the effect too harsh, you can soften the look with a tea rinse. Shampoo as you regularly do, then rinse with plain water. Next, rinse your hair with a brewed black tea that has been allowed to cool to a comfortable temperature. Leave in for at least five minutes, then squeeze out the liquid from your hair as much as possible. Let your hair dry naturally, then style as usual. Your hair will be noticeably, albeit temporarily, darker and shinier. Choose teas by the color they are when brewed. Chinese blacks like Keemun or Yunnan and Indian Assam will give the darker color; Ceylon blacks and Darjeeling will give a more golden hue.

Forget the cool cucumber slices, and choose spent tea bags for an eye soothing remedy. After you have used a tea bag for tea, cover it up and refrigerate it. When your eyes are tired from computer work, or too much exposure to the sun, or not enough sleep, these really rest and refresh your baby blues/greens/browns!

Lie down on the sofa or a bed; place a cool tea bag on each eye (closed!) and rest for ten to fifteen minutes. Your eyes will look sparkling and fresh, and you'll feel better, too!

Freshening Your Face
Dried, uninfused green tea or rooibos are also a wonderful beauty and refeshing source. Creative soap makers have for years incorporated tea leaves in their bars of soaps because they can help slough off dried skin, deodorize, and leave you smelling Luscious with skin that's as soft as a baby's.

Crushing green tea leaves or even White tea in a heavy face cream is a mild but effective way to give you a mini facial. By making circling motions with the cream you can polish your skin and make it appear younger and fresher. Simply rinse off thoroughly with tepid water and pat dry very lightly or allow the water to evaporate naturally.

You can also use this method on your feet with or without a pumice stone to slough off calluses or other rough spots. Use a very thick cream for a "rougher" more effective product.

Curing Minor Irritations
Got a paper cut? Knife nipped you while peeling an apple? Have a little heat rash, bug bite, minor burn or similar mild skin irritation? Tea can come to the rescue! Saturate cotton pad with infused tea, black or green, and place it on the abrasion or rash. Do not rinse off. Repeat as necessary.

Using a tea-infused liquid as a gently face freshener or aftershave is also a soothing idea any season of the year. Just splash on tea onto your face and allow to dry or saturate with a cotton pad, blotting irritated or very dry areas as necessary.

There still exists confusion between true teas and herbal infusions. Chamomile may indeed be a skin soother, but it is a flower, not a tea. Yerba mate is certainly a picker upper, but it is not a tea.

Just because a company says its product evokes the essence of a "tea garden" does not mean there really is tea in the product. It may, alas, just be great ad copy that appeals to those of us who appreciate the power of tea. Elizabeth Arden green tea products, Origins white tea line, and most perfumers touting tea in their fragrances do indeed use "real tea".
